Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

AI-First Product Strategy & Execution

• Translate product vision into prioritized features (epics) and user stories that leverage AI capabilities such as workflow automation, predictive intelligence (e.g., sales/service optimization), and generative experiences (e.g., conversational interfaces, content generation).
• Identify opportunities to create platform-level AI capabilities that scale across CDK products.

Business Case & Value Realization

• Develop and contribute to business cases that quantify the value of AI-enabled features, including efficiency gains, revenue lift, and cost savings.
• Align product investments with strategic goals and measurable dealership outcomes.

Backlog & Delivery Leadership

• Own and prioritize product backlogs, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and AI/data readiness.
• Partner with R&D, Data Science, and Scrum Masters to drive efficient execution across the full lifecycle (definition, development, testing, beta, release, retrospectives).

Cross-Product & Ecosystem Alignment

• Identify and manage interdependencies across CDK product lines to ensure seamless, integrated dealer experiences.
• Collaborate with other Product Managers to align on shared capabilities, data models, and AI strategies.

Customer & Market Insight

• Act as the voice of the customer by synthesizing dealer feedback, behavioral data, and market trends.
• Incorporate AI-driven insights and analytics into product decisions and prioritization.

Data-Driven Optimization & AI Performance

• Define and monitor key success metrics, including traditional KPIs (adoption, revenue, NPS) and AI-specific metrics (model accuracy, precision/recall, utilization, automation rate).
• Lead experimentation strategies (A/B testing, model evaluation) to continuously improve product performance.

Responsible AI & Governance

• Ensure AI features adhere to principles of fairness, transparency, privacy, and accountability.
• Mitigate risks related to bias, data quality, and model reliability.
• Mentorship & Capability Building
• Serve as a resource and mentor to junior product team members.
• Promote AI-first product thinking and upskill the organization in data-driven and intelligent product development.

• Meet or exceed all performance expectations

Required Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Data Science; OR in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least 7 years of related experience.
• 4+ years of Product Management/Product Owner experience in Enterprise SaaS environments
• Proven experience delivering complex products end-to-end 
• Experience in Agile/DevOps and distributed teams
• Strategic thinking with strong execution focus 
• Advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making 
• Ability to translate complex workflows into AI-enabled solutions 
• Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills 
• Technical aptitude to collaborate with Engineering and Data Science
• Travel up to 25% to engage with dealerships, customers, industry events, and internal stakeholders to gather insights, validate product direction, and support product delivery.
• Leads with AI-first, platform-driven thinking 
• Prioritizes automation, prediction, and generative capabilities 
• Uses data and experimentation as core decision drivers 
• Designs with responsible AI principles 
• Focuses on measurable dealership outcomes at scale

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience defining and delivering AI/ML-enabled products or data-driven platforms 
• Deep expertise in writing features (epics), user stories, and driving product execution 
• Experience building business cases and aligning product strategy to outcomes 
• Knowledge of automotive, recreation, or heavy equipment industries 
• Pragmatic Institute certification or equivalent
