Sr Technical Architect - Integration, Mulesoft, Boomi,SAP CPI, Flowable

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Integration Architect with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise integration solutions using middleware and integration platforms.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on architecture and implementation experience in at least one of the following middleware technologies:

·         MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform)

·         SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration / Integration Suite)

·         Azure Data Factory (ADF)

·         Boomi (Dell Boomi / Boomi AtomSphere)

·         Flowable

 

Expertise in any ONE of the above platforms is sufficient. Experience across multiple platforms is an added advantage but is not mandatory.

The candidate should be capable of independently designing integration architectures, defining integration patterns, and providing technical guidance to implementation teams.

Experience working with supply chain applications or enterprise business systems will be considered an additional advantage.

What you’ll do:

·         Design and architect scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable enterprise integration solutions.

·         Lead integration architecture and technical design using one or more of the specified middleware platforms.

·         Translate business and functional requirements into integration architecture, technical specifications, and interface designs.

·         Define integration patterns for synchronous, asynchronous, batch, event-driven, and API-based integrations.

·         Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs, data transformations, message routing, orchestration, and error-handling mechanisms.

·         Define integration standards, reusable components, monitoring, logging, and exception-handling frameworks.

·         Collaborate with solution architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, and customers to establish end-to-end integration designs.

·         Provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, and guide development teams through implementation and testing.

·         Troubleshoot complex integration issues involving performance, connectivity, data mapping, security, and reliability.

·         Support integration testing, deployment planning, production readiness, and technical documentation.

 

What we are looking for:

1. Middleware / Integration Platform Expertise

Strong hands-on experience in at least ONE of the following:

·         MuleSoft: Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, DataWeave, API Manager, integration flows.

·         SAP CPI: SAP Cloud Integration, iFlows, adapters, message mapping, API integration.

·         Azure Data Factory: Data pipelines, data movement, transformation, orchestration, Azure integration services.

·         Boomi: Integration processes, connectors, mappings, APIs, Atom/Molecule runtime.

·         Flowable: BPMN, workflow orchestration, process automation, service integrations.

2. Enterprise Integration Architecture

·         Strong understanding of enterprise application integration (EAI) concepts and integration design patterns.

·         Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and data transformation.

·         Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication.

·         Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, and secure connectivity.

·         Knowledge of error handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.

·         Ability to produce high-level and low-level technical integration designs.

3. Architecture & Consulting Capabilities

·         Experience leading integration design discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.

·         Ability to evaluate integration requirements and recommend appropriate architecture patterns.

·         Experience in technical estimation, design documentation, and implementation governance.

·         Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

·         Experience with supply chain applications, particularly with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

·         Experience integrating ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle with enterprise applications.

·         Familiarity with logistics, transportation, warehousing, order fulfillment, or inventory management processes.

·         Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure.

·         Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or enterprise message queues.

·         Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and automated integration deployments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

·         8+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in enterprise integration development and architecture.

·         Proven experience owning end-to-end integration architecture for enterprise implementations.

·         Strong hands-on technical background, with the ability to guide developers and resolve complex integration challenges.

·         Experience working in customer-facing consulting or enterprise implementation environments.

·         Ability to independently lead integration workshops, design discussions, and technical reviews.
