Role Description

As Transformation Director for Access Lifecycle & Role Management, you will modernize access lifecycle & role management capabilities through a cloud-native architecture. You will lead a global matrixed team, manage a complex vendor ecosystem, and deliver milestones aligned with the CSO modernization agenda.

Your key responsibilities

• Capability Strategy and Target State: Define and maintain the Access Lifecycle and Role Management CTO capability strategy, target architecture, operating model, and investment roadmap, translating enterprise security and technology priorities into executable transformation outcomes.
• Access Lifecycle & Role Management Technology Transformation: Lead the end-to-end modernization of the related I&A processes and technology using AI for role mining.
• Program Delivery: Deliver transformation milestones aligned with security, compliance, and operational efficiency goals, ensuring transparent reporting of delivery status, risks, dependencies, funding implications, and strategic trade-offs.
• Team & Vendor Management: Lead global teams across engineering, operations, and transformation; ensure vendors meet internal standards and KPIs.
• Contract Management: Oversee multi-vendor contracts, performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent I&A ALM & RM with CSO, work closely with CSO ISPS, wider TDI, business stakeholders, steering committees, auditors, and regulators.
• Executive Communication: Prepare clear briefings and decision materials for senior executives and regulators.
• Travel: One or two trips per year to Frankfurt, subject to business needs.

 

Your skills and experience

• Proven leadership of large-scale transformation programs.
• Experience with the implementation of complex IT systems.
• Deep knowledge of I&A processes and technologies, i.e. ForgeRock / SailPoint.
• Experience managing distributed teams and vendors in matrix organizations.
• Strong program management, stakeholder communication, and change leadership skills.
• Experience in contract negotiation and vendor performance management.
• Ability to present clearly to senior executives, auditors, and regulators.
• Knowledge of financial-services regulatory and audit frameworks.
• Experience working with global technology hubs.

• Resolve legacy integration, cloud adoption, and system harmonization challenges while ensuring resilient and scalable solutions.
• Prepare high-quality steering materials and provide hands-on support for executive readiness.
• Build a collaborative, high-performing culture and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
• Align vendors with internal standards, KPIs, and security and risk practices.
• Balance migration speed with security and compliance requirements.

 

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
