Senior Azure Solution Architect Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Azure Solution Architect Engineer is responsible for designing implementing and optimizing secure scalable and costeffective cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure This role partners with business development infrastructure operations and security teams to deliver cloud architectures that support business objectives and drive digital transformation

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for cloud migration modernization automation governance and operational excellence initiatives while ensuring solutions meet security compliance performance and reliability requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

Azure Architecture Engineering

Design and implement secure scalable and highly available Azure solutions

Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives including hybrid and cloudnative architectures

Evaluate recommend and implement Azure services and architectural patterns

Conduct architecture reviews and establish cloud standards and best practices

Technical Leadership Collaboration

Partner with development infrastructure operations and security teams throughout the solution lifecycle

Provide technical leadership mentorship and architectural guidance

Lead design reviews technical workshops and architecture discussions

Serve as a trusted advisor for Azure strategy and implementation

Automation DevOps Security

Implement Infrastructure as Code IaC using ARM Templates Bicep Terraform or similar technologies

Design and maintain CICD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps

Implement Azure security controls governance policies identity management and compliance frameworks

Promote automation standardization and operational efficiency

Reliability Performance Optimization

Optimize Azure environments for performance availability scalability and cost efficiency

Design and support backup disaster recovery and business continuity solutions

Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and platform issues

Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Location Fort Collins Colorado or Denver Colorado

Environment Office setting with collaboration across global teams and business functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services cloud architecture networking security and storage

Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure hybrid cloud and cloudnative architectures

Handson experience with Azure DevOps CICD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code ex ARM Templates Bicep Terraform

Knowledge of Azure governance identity management security frameworks compliance requirements and cloud operations

Experience designing highly available resilient and disaster recoveryenabled cloud solutions

Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform GCP and multicloud environments is a plus

Strong analytical troubleshooting problemsolving and communication skills

Proven experience supporting crossfunctional teams and cloud transformation initiatives

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 8 years of experience designing implementing and supporting enterprise cloud solutions

Minimum 5 years of handson Microsoft Azure architecture and engineering experience

Proven success leading cloud migration modernization and enterprise Azure initiatives

EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or a related field

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
