Database Administrator (DB2/Netezza/Cassandra)
Technology->Big Data - NoSQL->Cassandra Administration,Technology->Data Management - Data Store Administration->Netezza Administration,Technology->infrastructure-database administration->SQL administration • Administer, monitor, and maintain IBM DB2 databases in production and non-production environments. • Manage and support Netezza or Cassandra databases for performance, availability, and scalability. • Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations. • Monitor database health, storage, backups, and recovery processes. • Analyze and resolve database performance issues using tuning and optimization techniques. • Create and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies. • Support application teams with database design, schema changes, and query optimization. • Implement database security, user management, and access controls. • Automate routine DBA activities through scripting and tools. • Troubleshoot database incidents and provide root cause analysis (RCA). • Ensure database compliance, governance, and operational standards are followed. • Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and support teams for production deployments. • Maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and monitoring dashboards. • Participate in on-call support and critical issue resolution.Job role
