Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Cost Accounting: Track direct materials, labor, and overhead costs to calculate accurate product manufacturing costs.
  • Inventory Valuation: Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory counts and valuations.
  • Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit-and-loss (P&L) statements for the plant or company.
  • Variance Analysis: Compare actual production costs against budgeted targets and report discrepancies to management.
  • Compliance & Audits: Prepare documentation for tax filings, statutory compliances, and internal or external audits
