Fashion Designer
Punava is getting ready to launch!
We’re building a brand that gives old clothes, forgotten fabrics and meaningful memories a new life. As we prepare to launch our first range of products, we’re looking for a creative Textile & Upcycling Product Designer to join us at this exciting stage.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You’ll work with materials like old jeans, shirts, sarees, bedsheets and other textiles and transform them into thoughtfully designed products such as:
Bags • Rugs • Quilts • Cushions • Pouches • Dolls • Home Décor & More
You’ll be involved in concept development, fabric selection, pattern making, product development, sampling and working with artisans to turn ideas into production-ready products.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
• Has a strong understanding of textiles, fabrics and stitching
• Can develop creative and practical products from existing materials
• Understands upcycling, patchwork and fabric utilization
• Has a good eye for colour, texture and design
• Can create samples and work closely with artisans
• Is experimental, hands-on and passionate about sustainable design
• Has a Textile / Fashion Design background
Experience: 0–5 years
Location: Vadodara
Freshers with an exceptional portfolio in textile/upcycling design are welcome to apply.
MOST IMPORTANTLY…We’re not looking for someone who only knows how to design.
We’re looking for someone who can look at an old piece of clothing and imagine what it could become.
