About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive with strong accounting fundamentals and practical experience in day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a CA background (CA Inter / CA Dropout / CA Pursuing) and hands-on experience with Zoho Books, along with good communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
• Handle purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports.
• Handle GST-related accounting and assist with GST return preparation.
• Support TDS, Professional Tax and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, customers and internal teams.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
• Maintain accounting records accurately in Zoho Books.
• Support management with financial data and accounting reports.

Required Skills

• Zoho Books – Mandatory
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification.
• CA Inter / CA Dropout / CA Pursuing – Preferred.
• Candidates with a strong CA background and practical accounting experience will be given preference.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
