Production Supervisor

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily factory production, supervise workers, and ensure smooth machine operation. The candidate must have good staff management skills and practical knowledge of mechanical or electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Take responsibility for shift production, output, quality, and timely completion of production targets.

- Allocate work, manage manpower, and maintain staff attendance, discipline, and coordination.

- Monitor machines and identify faults early to minimise breakdowns and production downtime.

- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with the maintenance team.

- Control raw material usage, production wastage, and rejection.

- Ensure proper shift handover and maintain daily production, downtime, and maintenance records.

- Enforce safe working practices and maintain factory cleanliness and housekeeping.

- Report production issues promptly to the Plant Manager and follow up until resolved.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience supervising workers in a manufacturing factory is required.

- Practical knowledge of machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Ability to handle workers firmly and fairly, resolve day-to-day issues, and take ownership of assigned work.

- ITI, diploma, or a similar technical qualification preferred.

- Experience in HDPE pipe manufacturing or plastic extrusion preferred.
