Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC, VMC, HMC and other machining machines as per production requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions and machining specifications.
- Perform machine loading/unloading, tool setting and basic offset adjustments.
- Monitor machining processes and ensure components are produced as per drawing requirements.
- Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge and bore gauge.
- Maintain required quality standards and follow inspection procedures.
- Identify machining defects, tool wear and machine-related issues and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection activities.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Experience in CNC/VMC/HMC machine operation will be an advantage.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use basic measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets and basic machining processes.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.
- Good discipline, attendance and willingness to learn are essential.
