Job Description
A Customer Service Associate (CSA) at a retail chain like More Retail (More Supermarket/Hypermart) acts as the primary contact for shoppers, handling store operations, customer care, and sales support. [1, 2]
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet shoppers, answer product questions, help locate items, and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
- Billing & Transactions: Operate point-of-sale (POS) registers, process cash or card payments, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Floor & Stock Management: Restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, check price tags, and rotate inventory.
- Order & Inquiry Handling: Manage phone calls, digital or dark-store chat requests, and order processing depending on the specific store format.
- Store Hygiene & Safety: Keep aisles, counters, and checkout areas clean, tidy, and safe for customers.
