Job Responsibilities

1. Manage overall store operations including receipt, storage, issuance and dispatch of materials.
2. Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials, packing materials, finished goods and other inventory.
3. Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely updating of ERP/system transactions.
4. Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of materials as per production requirements.
5. Ensure proper identification, labeling, segregation and traceability of materials.
6. Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QA, QC and other departments for material requirements.
7. Conduct regular physical stock verification and investigate stock discrepancies.
8. Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and proper material storage conditions.
9. Maintain store documents, records, registers and inventory reports as per GMP requirements.
10. Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, safety and statutory requirements.
11. Supervise and guide store staff and ensure effective manpower utilization.
12. Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling, approval and release of materials.
13. Monitor housekeeping, pest control and safety practices within the store area.
14. Support internal, customer and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
15. Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, stock status and material movement.
