About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic, responsible and multi-skilled Sales & Retail Operations Executive to manage day-to-day activities at our sports retail store. The role combines retail sales, customer handling, inventory management, billing, and social media activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Sales & Customer Handling

• Greet customers and understand their sports/product requirements.
• Recommend suitable sports equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories.
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
• Handle customer queries, product demonstrations and basic after-sales support.
• Maintain attractive product displays and store merchandising.
• Build good relationships with regular customers.

2. Inventory Management

• Receive and check incoming stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and identify fast-moving/slow-moving products.
• Assist with stock counting and periodic physical verification.
• Prepare stock replenishment requirements.
• Ensure proper product tagging, pricing and shelf placement.
• Coordinate with suppliers when required.

3. Billing & Store Operations

• Handle POS/billing and cash/card/UPI transactions.
• Generate invoices and maintain billing records.
• Handle returns/exchanges according to company policy.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and overall presentation of the store.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed.

4. Social Media Handling

• Create and publish content for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
• Take product photographs/videos and create basic reels/posts.
• Write captions, descriptions and hashtags.
• Respond to social-media enquiries and customer messages.
• Promote new arrivals, offers, discounts and seasonal campaigns.
• Maintain regular and engaging social-media activity.

5. Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with customized jersey/T-shirt orders and customer requirements.
• Coordinate bulk/corporate orders when required.
• Support promotional activities and in-store campaigns.
• Perform other day-to-day operational tasks related to the store.

Candidate ProfileWe are looking for someone who is:

• Customer-friendly and confident in sales
• Good at communication and negotiation
• Comfortable using computers, POS/billing software and Excel/Google Sheets
• Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business and basic Canva/video editing
• Organized and attentive to inventory/details
• Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities
• Energetic and willing to learn about sports products
• Able to work independently as well as with a team
• QualificationsMinimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
• Previous experience in retail sales/sports retail/inventory management will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of sports products is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience, skills and overall suitability.
