Location: Thane, Mumbai

Experience: Minimum 1 Year

Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month in-hand

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Associate to support end-to-end procurement activities for our warehouse and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vendor coordination, RFQ management, purchase orders, CAPEX/OPEX procurement, and warehouse/store operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day procurement activities for warehouse launches, ongoing operations, and office/warehouse requirements.
2. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, availability, pricing, lead times, negotiations, and timely deliveries.
3. Handle RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, compare vendor quotations, and support commercial negotiations to achieve cost-effective procurement.
4. Manage Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, specifications, taxes, delivery timelines, and other commercial terms.
5. Handle Proforma Invoices (PIs) and coordinate with vendors and internal teams for approvals and payment processing.
6. Support procurement of CAPEX and OPEX items, including warehouse equipment, storage solutions, consumables, stationery, safety materials, and other operational requirements.
7. Coordinate procurement activities for new warehouse launches, ensuring all required materials, equipment, and supplies are available within defined timelines.
8. Maintain and update vendor databases, quotation records, PO trackers, procurement reports, and documentation.
9. Coordinate with warehouse, operations, finance, and other internal teams to understand requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
10. Support store operations and inventory management, including material receipt, stock tracking, issuance, and reconciliation.
11. Monitor vendor performance with respect to quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and service levels.
12. Identify and develop reliable vendors while maintaining strong and professional vendor relationships.
13. Ensure procurement processes follow company policies, approval matrices, and budgetary requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Supply Chain, Warehouse Procurement, or a related role.
2. Experience in vendor coordination and supplier management.
3. Good understanding of RFQs, quotation comparison, POs, PIs, CAPEX/OPEX procurement, and basic commercial terms.
4. Exposure to warehouse launches, store operations, or logistics procurement will be preferred.
5. Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and procurement documentation.
6. Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple requirements and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
8. Candidates who have worked in 3PL, warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, retail, or supply chain companies will be preferred.

Someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, commercially aware, and strong at vendor management, with the ability to independently coordinate procurement requirements from requirement identification → RFQ → quotation comparison → approval → PO/PI → delivery → documentation.
