Job SummaryWe are looking for a Automotive Service Advisor to join our service and repair team. The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge of automobiles and be capable of understanding customer requirements, diagnosing basic vehicle issues, coordinating with mechanics, and ensuring timely completion of service and repair jobs.

Candidates with experience as a Tractor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, or Auto Electrician are also encouraged to apply.

• Key ResponsibilitiesReceive customers and understand their vehicle/service requirements.
• Inspect vehicles and identify basic mechanical and electrical issues.
• Prepare job cards and clearly communicate repair/service requirements to the workshop team.
• Explain required repairs, service work, and estimated costs to customers.
• Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time.
• Follow up on ongoing repair and maintenance work.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks after servicing or repairs.
• Keep customers updated regarding job status and additional repair requirements.
• Maintain records of service jobs, spare parts, and customer details.
• Handle customer queries and ensure a positive service experience.
• Identify recurring vehicle problems and communicate them to the supervisor.
• Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness, and proper use of tools and equipment.

• Skills RequiredGood knowledge of automobile mechanical systems.
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, tractors, and motor vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems is an advantage.
• Ability to identify and explain vehicle problems.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with mechanics and technicians.
• Basic knowledge of service processes, spare parts, and repair work.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Responsible, organized, and customer-focused.
• Ability to work in a workshop/service environment.
• QualificationITI / Diploma in Automobile, Motor Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical, or Auto Electrical preferred.
• Relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
• Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and strong practical knowledge may apply.
