Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain and verify accounting records, vouchers and ledgers.
• Prepare and manage GST related work and filings.
• Handle TDS calculations, returns and related compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements and assist with finalization of accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants and other departments when required.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and year-end accounting activities.

Required Skills:

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Good knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Practical knowledge of finalization of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP will be preferred.
• Good analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate:

A candidate who can independently handle day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS and finalization of accounts will be preferred.
