Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Issue customer invoices, process vendor bills, handle collections on overdue accounts, and reconcile aging reports to the general ledger. [1, 2]
- Journal Entries & Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions, post and process journal entries, and maintain accurate ledgers and journals. [1, 2, 3]
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, verify cash deposits, and match ledger activity against financial statements. [1, 2]
- Financial Reporting Support: Assist in compiling trial balances, balance sheets, income statements, and monthly or quarterly management reports. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Participate in closing procedures, value portfolios or check expense allocations, and gather documents for periodic audits.
