QCA Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspection & Control Conduct incoming inspection of purchased components, raw materials, machined parts, fabricated parts, and bought-out items.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of machine components and assemblies as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, welding, fabrication, and assembly quality.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other inspection tools.
• Ensure materials and components conform to specified quality requirements.
• Technical & Drawing Review Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Understand basic GD & T, dimensional tolerances, material specifications, and surface finish requirements.
• Coordinate with Design and Production teams for clarification of technical and quality requirements.
• Develop understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and other manufacturing processes.
• Vendor & Supplier Quality Inspect and verify materials received from suppliers as per purchase specifications.
• Coordinate with Purchase and suppliers regarding quality issues, rejection, rework, and replacement.
• Prepare and maintain supplier inspection and rejection records.
• Support supplier quality improvement activities.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, NCRs, Rejection Reports, and Quality Records.
• Identify non-conforming materials/components and ensure proper segregation and disposition.
• Support Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities.
• Maintain proper quality documentation and inspection records.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining company quality procedures and standards.
• Coordination Work closely with Design, Production, Purchase, Stores, and Project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in quality meetings and support continuous improvement activities.
• Assist in ensuring that finished machines meet customer and company quality requirements before dispatch.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education & Experience BE/B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Freshers and candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in an engineering or machinery manufacturing company can apply.

Experience:

0–2 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance / Inspection, preferably in machinery, engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing industries.

Freshers with a strong Mechanical/Production Engineering background are encouraged to apply.
