About Studio Pictures LoomStudio Pictures Loom is a photography and filmmaking studio based in Rohtak, Haryana. We create wedding films, wedding photography, commercial content, and visual stories that focus on emotions, aesthetics, and meaningful storytelling.

We are currently looking for an experienced Wedding Film Editor who can turn wedding footage into emotionally engaging and visually aesthetic films.

Role OverviewWe are looking for someone with 3–4 years of professional experience in wedding video editing who understands wedding storytelling beyond simply putting clips together.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of emotion, music, pacing, composition, sound, colour and storytelling and should be able to create engaging wedding films with a clean, cinematic and documentary-style approach.

Our current creative focus is on documentary-style wedding films — authentic moments, real emotions and natural storytelling, with minimal dependence on unnecessary effects or transitions.

• Key ResponsibilitiesEdit Wedding Reels, Teasers, Highlights and Wedding Films.
• Edit documentary-style wedding films with a strong sense of storytelling.
• Select the right moments from large volumes of wedding footage.
• Create emotional narratives using visuals, natural audio, music and dialogue.
• Maintain good pacing and rhythm throughout the film.
• Understand how to build a story around real moments and emotions.
• Use transitions, effects and motion graphics only when they add value to the story.
• Perform basic-to-advanced colour correction and colour grading.
• Work with dialogue, ambient sound, music and natural wedding audio effectively.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, skin tones and overall colour.
• Collaborate with photographers, cinematographers and the studio’s creative/project team.
• Understand creative briefs and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines while maintaining quality.
• What We’re Looking ForMust Have3–4 years of professional experience in wedding video editing.
• Strong portfolio of wedding films and wedding edits.

• Wedding Teasers
• Wedding Highlights
• Long-form Wedding Films
• Documentary-style Wedding Films
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and narrative structure.
• Good sense of music selection, beat, pacing and emotional build-up.
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of colour correction and colour grading.
• Ability to work with natural audio, speeches, conversations and ambient sound.
• Comfortable handling and organising large amounts of wedding footage.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Ability to understand and implement creative feedback.

Creative Approach We PreferWe are not looking for someone who relies heavily on effects, flashy transitions or templates.

We prefer an editor who understands:

Moments > Over-editing

Authenticity > Artificiality

Someone who can make a bride’s expression, a father’s voice, a small family moment or a simple conversation feel powerful through the right edit.

Software SkillsStrong working knowledge of professional editing software such as:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Photoshop/Lightroom — basic knowledge is a plus

This is a Work From Office position. The selected candidate will be required to work from our studio in Rohtak and will not be a remote position.
