Construction / Site Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day site activities and ensure that construction work is executed safely, efficiently, and strictly as per the approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Read, understand, and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and service drawings.
• Execute and monitor work strictly as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Coordinate and manage manpower, labour, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Allocate work to workers and ensure proper utilization of manpower.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure construction is carried out as per required standards.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, and other construction activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and project management teams.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and immediately report them to the concerned engineer/management.
• Ensure proper availability and utilization of materials, tools, and equipment at site.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work progress, material consumption, and site activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices at the construction site.
• Supervise work execution and rectify workmanship issues promptly.
• Ensure that no work is carried out without proper drawing/instruction or approval.
• Coordinate with the site engineer and management for smooth execution of the project.
• Report daily progress, issues, delays, and requirements to the management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in building construction/site supervision.
• Strong practical knowledge of civil and building construction works.
• Must be able to read and understand construction drawings independently.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, measurements, and finishing works.
• Ability to execute work accurately as per drawings and specifications.
• Strong manpower and labour management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to identify site problems and take timely corrective action.
• Must be disciplined, responsible, and capable of independently handling site activities.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices and quality control is essential.

Preferred Candidate

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Site Supervisor with strong practical construction experience, capable of taking responsibility for the complete day-to-day functioning of the site, managing manpower, understanding drawings, and ensuring that the work is executed correctly, safely, and on schedule.

Note: Candidates with only theoretical knowledge but without substantial hands-on site experience will not be preferred.
