Job Description
- 1. Job ResponsibilitiesOperate VMC machines for production as per approved drawings and work instructions.
- Perform machine setting, job loading/unloading, and tool setting as per requirements.
- Understand and follow engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining instructions.
- Check first-piece components and perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments.
- Use vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Monitor machining cycles, tool wear, and machine performance during production.
- Maintain production targets as per the daily production plan.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities, tool breakage, and quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain component quality and minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards at the workplace.
- Maintain production records, rejection reports, and shift handover details.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, fixtures, and components.
