Picker / Packer

Receive parts-picking requests from the Parts Counter, Service Advisor, Workshop, or Parts Manager.

Pick the correct spare parts from racks/bins as per part number, description, model, and quantity.

Verify part numbers, quantities, and vehicle applicability before issuing parts.

Ensure parts are issued strictly against authorized job cards, invoices, or material requests.

Coordinate with the Parts Store team to locate and arrange required parts.

Properly label, organize, and store spare parts in their designated locations.

Maintain proper rack/bin discipline and ensure parts are easy to locate.

Assist in loading, unloading, shifting, and arranging automobile spare parts safely.

Check picked parts for physical damage before handing them over to the concerned department.

Return unused or incorrectly picked parts to their proper location with appropriate documentation.

Support stock counting, cycle counting, and physical inventory verification.

Immediately report stock discrepancies, missing parts, damaged items, or wrong part numbers to the supervisor.

Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the parts store and work area.

Coordinate with workshop technicians and service advisors for urgent parts requirements.

Avoid unauthorized removal, exchange, or movement of company/customer parts.

Follow company policies, safety procedures, and inventory-control processes.

Perform any other duties related to parts/store operations assigned by the Parts Manager.
