Documentation Executive

Key responsibilities

• Write, issue and update SOPs for production, QC, stores, dispatch and utilities
• Prepare batch records (BMR/BPR) for each product and issue them batch-wise to production
• Check that every batch follows its SOP: review filled batch records, log sheets and QC results before release
• Run the labelling system: raw material, quarantine, under-test, approved, rejected, in-process and finished drum/tanker labels, with batch numbers and hazard (GHS) labels
• Keep full batch traceability from raw material lot to finished product and dispatch
• Run document control: numbering, versions, approvals, master copies and withdrawal of old versions
• Maintain COA, MSDS/SDS, specifications, test methods and retain sample records
• Record deviations, out-of-spec results and change controls; follow up corrective actions
• Train shift staff on new and revised SOPs and keep training records
• Prepare documents for customer audits, export buyers and future ISO certification

Skills

• Strong documentation and record keeping; neat, accurate and organised
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP practices, batch records and document control
• Understanding of analytical tests (GC, KF, density, colour) to review QC data
• Good written English; MS Word and Excel
• Marathi/Hindi for training shift staff
