Job Description

Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently.

Cut, drill, groove and process MDF, particle board, plywood, pre-laminated boards and other furniture panels.

Operate machines such as:

  • Panel Saw / Sliding Table Saw
  • Edge Banding Machine
  • CNC Router
  • Boring Machine
  • Drilling Machine
  • Lamination and other woodworking equipment

Read and understand furniture drawings, dimensions and cutting lists.

Take accurate measurements and ensure components are manufactured as per specifications.

Check dimensions, edge finishing, drilling positions and overall quality.

Perform machine setup, tool changes and basic machine adjustments.

Identify and report machine problems or production defects.

Maintain proper cutting accuracy and minimize material wastage.

Follow production schedules and complete work within specified timelines.
