Job Description

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of HPDC dies.

Inspect, repair and maintain die inserts, cores, slides, ejector systems, cooling lines and hydraulic components.

Identify and rectify die-related casting defects such as flash, porosity, soldering, cracks and dimensional issues.

Perform die dismantling, cleaning, inspection, assembly and setting.

Coordinate with production during die trials and troubleshooting.

Maintain die maintenance history, repair records and spare parts inventory.

Plan and execute periodic die maintenance to improve die life and performance.

Coordinate with tool room for die modification and repair work.

Ensure dies are available as per production requirements.
