Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all fire alarm systems comply with applicable safety codes, regulations, and company standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and commission fire alarm systems.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with local fire codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct functional testing of fire alarm devices, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, and control panels.
• Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and system breakdowns.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project managers during installations and service visits.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Train customers on the basic operation of installed fire alarm systems when required.
