About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible operations executive to manage the day-to-day operational activities of our mutual fund distribution business.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and accurate processing of mutual fund transactions, maintaining client records, coordinating with AMCs/RTA platforms, resolving operational queries, and supporting the relationship and sales teams.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in mutual fund operations, wealth management, financial services, broking, or a related industry and should have a good understanding of mutual fund transactions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mutual Fund Operations

Process and monitor mutual fund transactions, including:

• Purchase / Additional Purchase
• Redemption
• Switch
• SIP / STP / SWP registration and modifications
• Folio creation and consolidation
• Bank mandate registration
• KYC and FATCA-related processes
• Verify transaction forms, client details, bank details, and supporting documents before submission.
• Track transactions from initiation to successful completion.
• Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies or rejections.

2. Client & Distributor Support

• Provide operational support to clients and the internal sales/relationship management team.
• Handle client queries related to transactions, statements, SIPs, redemptions, folios, and other operational matters.
• Coordinate with clients for pending documents, signatures, mandates, and other requirements.
• Ensure timely responses and closure of operational requests.

3. AMC / RTA Coordination

• Coordinate with AMCs, RTAs and other service providers for transaction-related issues.
• Follow up on pending transactions, rejected transactions, service requests, and other operational matters.
• Maintain proper records of communications and follow-ups.

4. Documentation & Data Management

• Maintain accurate and updated client and transaction records.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all forms and service requests.
• Maintain MIS reports related to transactions, SIPs, redemptions, pending cases, and operational activities.
• Ensure data accuracy across internal systems and platforms.

5. Compliance & Process Discipline

• Follow internal processes and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and verification before processing transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and financial data.
• Escalate unusual or sensitive cases to the reporting manager.

6. Coordination with Internal Teams

• Work closely with Sales, Relationship Managers, Finance, and Management.
• Provide timely operational information and transaction updates.
• Support the team in improving turnaround time and reducing operational errors.
