Solar Rooftop Project Engineer

Lumbyn Energy (rooftop solar EPC, Patna) is hiring a Solar Rooftop Project Engineer to own residential and small-commercial rooftop solar projects in Patna end-to-end. You are the single point of accountability for each project, from site survey to final handover.

This is a hands-on project-management + engineering role (part field, part office): you plan, drive and deliver every rooftop solar project on time, on budget and to quality.

Project management (your core ownership):

• Plan and schedule each rooftop project from survey to commissioning

• Coordinate design, BOQ and material readiness

• Manage local installers and electricians: allocate work, track daily progress, control quality and timelines

• Drive PM Surya Ghar registration, subsidy claims and DISCOM (SBPDCL / NBPDCL) net-metering approvals end-to-end

• Liaise with banks: support customer loan applications, documentation and disbursement

• Own budget / BOQ adherence, keep the customer updated and drive final handover sign-off

On-site engineering:

• Site survey: structure, shadow, feasibility and system sizing

• Supervise installation: mounting, cabling, earthing, SPD and inverter

• Testing, commissioning and handover

Must have:

• Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering, OR a solar / renewable-energy course (mandatory)

• Hands-on rooftop solar experience (survey to commissioning)

• Smartphone and willingness to travel to Patna sites daily

Good to have: own a two-wheeler (preferred); PM Surya Ghar / net-metering / DISCOM experience; bank loan-liaisoning exposure; own laptop (preferred); AutoCAD or PVsyst basics.

Location: Patna (field role). Reports to Founder & CEO. Immediate joiners preferred.
