Accountant

• Record daily transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and management summaries.
• Ensure timely statutory and tax-related compliance, including GST, TDS, and other applicable requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments when required.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
• RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and applicable tax regulations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Preferred QualificationsCA/Inter, CMA, or equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
