Accounts and Finance Executive

About Us

Goshies Apparels distributes leading apparel brands to multi-brand retailers across North India. We are looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to independently run our complete accounts and finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• GST filing — prepare and file all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), manage input tax credit reconciliation (GSTR-2B), and handle GST notices and queries.
• TDS filing — deduct, deposit, and file quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q), issue Form 16/16A, and reconcile with Form 26AS.
• Financial reporting / MIS — prepare monthly MIS reports covering sales, purchases, expenses, receivables, payables, and profitability; build reports management can use for decision-making.
• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally — journal entries, ledgers, and day-to-day accounting.
• Handle banking and payments — vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
• Process monthly payroll and related statutory compliances.
• Manage accounts receivable — retailer outstanding tracking, follow-ups, and ledger reconciliations with retailers and brands.
• Coordinate with external CA, auditors, and tax consultants for filings, audits, and income tax matters.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls as the business grows.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. CA not required.
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with independent GST and TDS filing experience.
• Proficiency in Tally/Logic ERP is a must.
• Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, lookups, and building MIS reports from raw data.
• Ability to run the accounts function independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in apparel, retail, or distribution business.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting, brand/vendor reconciliations, and credit control.
