Shift Supervisor – Bakery Front of House

Supervise and manage the Front of House team during the assigned shift.

Ensure smooth opening, operating, and closing of the bakery/café.

Welcome customers and ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.

Handle customer complaints, feedback, and service issues professionally.

Ensure the bakery display is clean, attractive, fully stocked, and properly labelled.

Monitor product availability and coordinate with the bakery/kitchen team for replenishment.

Ensure correct portioning, packing, labelling, and presentation of bakery products.

Manage billing, POS operations, cash handling, and daily cash reconciliation.

Monitor dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and online orders and ensure timely dispatch.

Coordinate with Zomato, Swiggy, delivery partners, and customers when required.

Check orders carefully to prevent wrong items, missing products, or incorrect packaging.

Maintain proper FIFO/FEFO practices and monitor product shelf life.

Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and food safety.

Allocate duties and breaks to staff and ensure adequate coverage throughout the shift.

Train and guide new and existing FOH staff on SOPs, customer service, POS, product knowledge, and hygiene.

Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance.

Check daily sales, wastage, discounts, complimentary items, and stock differences.

Report any operational issues, equipment problems, shortages, or wastage to the manager.

Ensure all opening and closing checklists are completed correctly.

Maintain a positive, professional, and disciplined working environment.

Support the Store/Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling operational costs.
