Sales Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator who can take ownership of student/customer acquisition and batch formation. The ideal candidate should be a strong sales professional with hands-on operational experience and excellent communication skills.The primary responsibility will be to convert prospective students/customers, collect the first installment, and successfully create upcoming batches, while also ensuring smooth coordination and operational execution.The ideal skill balance for this role is approximately 75% Sales and 25% Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Counselling – 75%

• Generate and convert leads into paid enrollments/admissions.
• Effectively communicate course/program benefits and convince prospective students/customers to join upcoming batches.
• Handle counselling calls, follow-ups, objections, and negotiations.
• Drive conversions by building trust and understanding customer requirements.
• Follow up consistently with leads until the enrollment/payment stage.
• Achieve monthly sales and enrollment targets.
• Ensure timely collection of the first installment from enrolled students/customers.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, conversions, and payments.
• Work closely with the team to ensure sufficient enrollments for upcoming batches.

Operations – 25%

• Coordinate with students throughout the further enrollment process and ensure a smooth transition from initial payment to batch allocation.
• Create and manage batches based on student enrollments, requirements, and availability.
• Call and follow up with students regarding their first installment and ensure timely payment/confirmation.
• Understand students’ needs, requirements, and concerns, and guide them appropriately regarding the enrollment and batch process.
• Resolve student queries promptly and provide clear and accurate guidance.
• Coordinate effectively with teachers and students to ensure smooth communication and batch operations.
• Maintain and update student enrollment and batch-related data accurately.
• Ensure that all student information, payment status, and batch details are updated systematically.
• Follow up with students to ensure successful onboarding and participation in their respective batches.
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Strong experience in sales, counselling, admissions, business development, or customer conversion.
• Good understanding of operational processes and coordination.
• Excellent Hindi and English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, follow-up, and objection-handling skills.
• Target-oriented, proactive, and result-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of batch creation and enrollment targets.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
