Job Description
- Conduct quality checks of incoming raw materials, including spices, dried fruits, pulses, lentils, and other food commodities, as per defined quality parameters.
- Monitor quality at different stages of processing, handling, packing, and finished product dispatch.
- Perform physical, sensory, and other applicable quality checks to ensure product conformity.
- Identify quality deviations, investigate the cause, and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper sampling, testing, inspection, and documentation of raw materials and finished products.
- Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and good manufacturing practices across operational areas.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and other QA documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with laboratories, suppliers, and internal teams for testing and resolution of quality-related issues.
- Monitor product specifications and ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Identify opportunities for improving quality processes, food safety practices, and overall product consistency.
