Kitchen Manager

About the role

Munchie Box is a cloud kitchen and counter outlet running four channels — Zomato and Swiggy delivery, walk-in counter, office tiffin subscriptions, and catering. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager who can run the daily operation end to end and take ownership of growing the tiffin and catering business.

Key responsibilities

Team & attendance

• Manage daily attendance, shift rosters and weekly offs for kitchen and delivery staff

• Assign daily tasks and hold the team to service timings

Stock & purchase

• Daily stock check of raw material, dairy, meat and packaging

• Place vendor orders, negotiate rates, verify quantity and quality at delivery

• Control wastage and maintain food cost within target percentage

Petpooja data entry & reporting

• Enter and update stock, purchases, menu changes and billing in Petpooja

• Send a daily end-of-day report covering counter orders, platform orders, tiffin count, new leads, complaints, wastage and cash tally

Quality control

• Taste-check and portion-check dishes before dispatch on every service

• Maintain kitchen hygiene and FSSAI compliance standards

• Monitor Zomato and Swiggy ratings and reviews, and fix the causes of low ratings

Customer service

• Handle counter customers and phone enquiries

• Resolve complaints on the same day and log them

Tiffin & catering marketing

• Visit offices in Malviya Nagar and nearby areas to add tiffin subscribers

• Follow up on tiffin leads and sample deliveries

• Build the catering pipeline — parties, BBQ events, corporate and film-set orders

• Support counter and local marketing activity

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in a restaurant, cloud kitchen or catering kitchen, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

• Graduate in any discipline; hotel management is a plus

• Working knowledge of North Indian and tandoor menus

• Comfortable with Petpooja or a similar POS, plus WhatsApp and basic Excel

• Fluent Hindi and working English

• Living in or near Sheikh Sarai, Malviya Nagar, Chirag Delhi, Saket or Khirki preferred
