Job Description
- daily sales, purchase, expenses, receipts and payments in Tally/Accounting Software.
- Verify and post restaurant sales, POS settlements, cash and card transactions.
- Reconcile cash, bank, credit card/POS and online payment collections.
- Record and verify purchase invoices and expense bills.
- Maintain vendor ledgers and perform regular vendor reconciliation.
- Prepare payment schedules and assist in vendor payment processing.
- Maintain daily cash and bank records and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in stock/inventory accounting, including purchase and consumption reconciliation.
- Coordinate with outlet/store teams regarding missing bills, invoices and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS and other statutory returns.
- Maintain proper records for TDS deductions, GST input credit and vendor balances.
- Assist in month-end closing and preparation of MIS reports.
- Ensure all accounting documents are properly filed and maintained.
- Support the Accounts Manager in audits and other finance-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP and MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS and accounting principles.
- Understanding of restaurant POS and online payment settlements will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of purchase, sales, cash, bank and vendor reconciliation.
