Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Garment Designer with strong knowledge of Menswear Designing and Garment Manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for developing new garment styles and coordinating with the production team to ensure the designs are successfully converted into finished garments.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new designs and styles for men's garments as per market trends and customer requirements.
• Prepare design concepts, sketches and style details.
• Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims, buttons, accessories and other materials according to the design.
• Prepare and maintain tech packs / style sheets / measurement specifications.
• Coordinate with the sampling, cutting, stitching and production teams for execution of designs.
• Follow up on samples, fit, measurements and corrections until final approval.
• Understand garment construction, stitching techniques and production processes.
• Coordinate with fabric and accessories teams to ensure availability of required materials.
• Make necessary modifications in designs based on sample fitting and production feasibility.
• Ensure the final garment is produced as per the approved design, measurements, quality and specifications.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve design and manufacturing-related issues.
• Keep updated with the latest fashion trends, colours, fabrics and menswear styles.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Garment Designing & Manufacturing.
• Good understanding of Menswear Garments.
• Knowledge of fabric, trims, garment construction and stitching.
• Good understanding of sampling and production processes.
• Ability to convert a design/concept into a commercially viable garment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of CorelDRAW / Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop will be an added advantage.

Preferred CandidateCandidate should have practical experience in a garment manufacturing company and should be capable of handling the complete process from design development to sample and production execution.
