Job Description
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and record sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal, debit note, and credit note entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and verify customer and vendor invoices.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor daily banking transactions.
- Maintain cash book, petty cash, ledgers, and vouchers.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and collections.
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts regularly.
- Prepare GST-related records, including sales/purchase data and input tax reconciliation.
- Assist with TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return-related documentation.
- Maintain proper records for statutory and tax compliance.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and other MIS reports.
- Monitor expenses, revenues, outstanding receivables, and payables.
- Assist management with cash-flow and financial reports.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, vendors, and customers on accounting matters.
- Maintain proper documentation for internal and statutory audits.
- Handle inventory/stock accounting and reconciliation, where applicable.
- Process employee reimbursements, salary-related accounting, and other expenses.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of company financial information.
- Ensure accounting entries and records are completed within required deadlines.
- Work with accounting software such as BUSY and MS Excel.
