HVAC DESIGNER

Job Description : We are looking for an HVAC Draftsman with at least 1 year of experience in preparing HVAC drawings and BOQs (Bill of Quantities). The candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD, HVAC ducting layouts, and quantity estimation from HVAC drawings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare HVAC drawings, including ducting layouts, ventilation layouts, and air-conditioning layouts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare HVAC BOQs by calculating quantities from design drawings and layouts.
• Take off quantities for ductwork, insulation, grilles, diffusers, dampers, piping, and HVAC equipment.
• Prepare material quantity sheets and maintain BOQ records in Excel.
• Review HVAC drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quantity calculations.
• Coordinate with HVAC engineers and estimation teams for BOQ preparation and revisions.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs for quotations, tenders, and project cost estimation.
• Update drawings and BOQs based on design changes and site requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in drawings, measurements, and quantity calculations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an HVAC Draftsman / HVAC BOQ Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, ventilation, and air-conditioning.
• Experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and technical specifications.
• Good attention to detail and coordination skills.
