Audit Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Handling day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping of clients using Tally / accounting software.
• Preparation and maintenance of ledgers, journals, bank reconciliation, sales, purchase and expense records.
• Preparation of financial statements, trial balance, schedules and supporting workings.
• Assisting in GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and reconciliation of books with GST returns / GSTR-2B.
• Handling TDS compliance, including preparation and filing of TDS returns, reconciliation and related workings.
• Assisting in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, companies and other entities.
• Assisting in Tax Audit, Statutory Audit and Internal Audit assignments.
• Performing audit procedures, verification of books of accounts, vouching, ledger scrutiny and reconciliation.
• Preparation of audit working papers, schedules and documentation as required for various audit assignments.
• Assisting in preparation of audit reports, tax audit reports and other statutory compliance reports.
• Assisting seniors in handling GST, Income Tax and other regulatory notices and submissions.
• Coordinating with clients for obtaining accounting data, documents, confirmations and other information required for compliance and audit assignments.
• Ensuring timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory compliances.
• Maintaining proper documentation and records of client assignments.
• Keeping updated with changes in GST, Income Tax, Companies Act and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Any other accounting, taxation, audit and professional assignments entrusted by the seniors / partners.
