Project Engineer

Independent Project Site HandlingThe candidate must be capable of independently handling an assigned project site.

This includes:

• Planning and conducting required site measurements.
• Coordinating directly with contractors and subcontractors.
• Verifying executed quantities.
• Checking contractor bills.
• Tracking BOQ quantities and variations.
• Identifying additional works and reporting them.
• Coordinating material quantity requirements.
• Maintaining proper site measurement records.
• Reporting project quantity and billing status to management.
• Resolving routine quantity and measurement issues at site without requiring constant supervision.

Travel RequirementThe candidate should be flexible and willing to travel to different project locations as required.

Regular travel between office and project sites may be required.

A valid driving licence and willingness to travel independently will be an advantage.

• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation.
• Good knowledge of civil construction works and materials.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to read AutoCAD and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of measurements, rate analysis, estimation, and contractor billing.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple contractors and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for an assigned project.
• Willingness to work at different project locations.
