Business Development Manager (BDM)

Role & responsibilities

A Front Line Sales (FLS) role in an agency channel (such as insurance or financial services) focuses on recruiting, training, and managing a team of financial advisors or agents while driving direct sales targets and building a profitable distribution network.

Recruitment and Team Building

·      Recruit high-quality financial consultants, advisors, and agents.

·      Build and expand a strong local distribution network.

·      Onboard new members and guide them through licensing and compliance

Sales and Target Achievement

·      Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

·      Drive the entire range of company products and manage product mix ratios.

·      Support field sales and close major client pitches when needed.

Operations and Compliance

·      Ensure all sales processes follow legal and company compliance guidelines.

·      Maintain accurate databases, records, and reports on team progress.

·      Coordinate with internal departments like underwriting to ensure smooth policy issuance.
