Job Description
Building Site Supervisor – Job ProfilePosition: Building Site Supervisor
Department: Projects / Construction
Location: Mumbai
Reports To: Project Manager / Site Engineer / Management
- Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day construction activities at the building site.
- Monitor civil, structural, finishing, plumbing, electrical and other site-related works.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labourers, vendors and site engineers.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship used at the site.
- Monitor daily labour attendance, manpower deployment and work progress.
- Maintain daily site reports, work progress records and material consumption records.
- Ensure proper availability and utilization of construction materials at site.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
- Ensure safety procedures and site safety guidelines are followed by all workers.
- Monitor housekeeping and cleanliness of the construction site.
- Coordinate material deliveries, unloading and proper storage at site.
- Verify completed work and report any defects or quality issues.
- Assist in measurements and checking of contractor bills, where required.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers and management for site-related requirements.
- Ensure work is completed within the given timeline and as per project requirements.
- Carry out regular inspections of the site and provide updates to management.
