Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant & Tax Associate to join our CA firm. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounting, taxation, GST, TDS and other compliance assignments for various clients.
- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers and reconciliations.
- Work on Tally Prime, Zoho Books and other accounting software.
- Prepare and file GST returns – GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and related reconciliations.
- Handle TDS returns, Form 16/16A, TDS reconciliation and related compliances.
- Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, companies and other entities.
- Prepare tax computations, capital gains workings and tax reconciliations.
- Handle 26AS, AIS and TIS reconciliations.
- Assist in tax audits, statutory audits and other assignments.
- Coordinate with clients for obtaining required financial and tax-related information.
- Identify accounting/tax issues and assist in resolving client queries.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments and statutory compliances.
- Maintain proper documentation and working papers.
