Position: PYP Homeroom Facilitator

Location: Vile Parle, Mumbai

Curriculum: International Baccalaureate (IB) – Primary Years Programme (PYP)

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and qualified PYP Homeroom Facilitator to create an engaging, inquiry-driven, and student-centred learning environment aligned with the IB PYP philosophy and framework.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and facilitate inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework

* Develop and implement transdisciplinary units of inquiry

* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

* Monitor and document students’ academic, social, and emotional development

* Use formative and summative assessment strategies

* Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

* Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies

* Collaborate with PYP team members, specialist teachers, coordinators, and school leadership

* Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress

* Participate in curriculum planning, professional development, workshops, and school events

* Promote IB Learner Profile attributes and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills

Eligibility & Requirements:

* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject

* B.Ed., D.Ed., or equivalent recognized teaching qualification

* Prior teaching experience in an IB PYP school is strongly preferred

* IB PYP training/certification is preferred

* Strong understanding of inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centred learning

* Excellent English communication, classroom management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

* Experience with formative assessment, documentation of learning, and differentiated instruction

Candidate Preference:

Candidates with relevant IB PYP classroom experience and recognized IB PYP professional development will be given preference.
