Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Momos/Dim Sum Chef to handle our kitchen's dumpling station. The ideal candidate should possess expert skills in preparing high-quality, consistent dough, various veg/non-veg fillings, and signature dipping sauces (chutneys). [1]
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation: Make fresh momo dough daily, ensuring proper thickness, elasticity, and texture.
- Stuffing & Shaping: Prepare unique stuffing (Veg, Paneer, Chicken, Soya, etc.) and skillfully shape/fold the momos cleanly and efficiently.
- Cooking: Prepare momos using various techniques including steaming, pan-frying, and deep-frying based on orders.
- Sauce Making: Prepare authentic accompaniments like spicy red tomato-chili chutney and specialized soups (Jhol).
- Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain strict cleanliness, follow food safety guidelines, and manage ingredient inventory properly
