Job Description

Bake House Cafe is looking for an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a café, restaurant, or hotel kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and coordinate food production.
• Manage kitchen staff, allocate duties, and monitor performance.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, portioning, and taste.
• Monitor food costs, wastage, stock levels, and inventory.
• Coordinate with the purchase team for ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure proper kitchen practices.
• Maintain standard recipes, preparation procedures, and production schedules.
• Coordinate with the cafe management and service team for smooth operations.
• Train kitchen staff and ensure discipline and productivity.
• Maintain proper records of stock, consumption, and kitchen operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Experience in a café, restaurant, bakery-café, or hotel kitchen preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety.
• Good understanding of inventory control, food costing, and wastage management.
• Excellent team-handling, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple kitchen activities.
• Knowledge of FSSAI hygiene standards and kitchen safety procedures.
