Junior Engineer

Job Purpose

To support the Sr. Engineers across new connection, meter management, MR/BD and REC/PDC activities at the field/sub-division level, ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

•    Carry out field verification, site surveys and technical checks for new connections, meter complaints and disconnection cases as assigned.

•    Assist in supervision of Technicians, Helpers and Meter Readers on ground for assigned tasks.

•    Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update MIS trackers for the assigned function.

•    Attend to customer complaints at the field level and escalate unresolved issues to the Sr. Engineer.

•    Ensure quality and safety compliance during field execution (meter installation, service connections, disconnections).

•    Support stock/material indenting and reconciliation for field activities in coordination with the Stock Keeper.

Skills & Competencies Required

•    Basic technical knowledge of LT distribution systems and metering

•    Field supervision ability

•    Reporting and documentation

•    Communication and customer handling

•    Willingness for extensive field travel
