Job Description

Key Responsibilities – Commis

  • Assist in preparation of food items as per recipes and standards
  • Perform basic cutting, chopping, and mise-en-place preparation
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation as per company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
  • Follow food safety, storage, and temperature control guidelines
  • Support senior chefs during service hours
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials
  • Minimize wastage and follow portion control standards
  • Assist in receiving and checking kitchen stock
  • Follow grooming, hygiene, and safety SOPs strictly
  • Support in opening and closing kitchen duties
