Job Description
- Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Manage general ledger entries, journal postings, and trial balance maintenance.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Process vendor invoices, track customer aging, handle supplier payments, and execute regular follow-ups.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer ledger reconciliations.
- Statutory Compliance: Handle monthly and quarterly filings for GST, TDS, TCS, and related local or corporate tax requirements.
- Month-End & Year-End Closings: Assist in closing books, preparing P&L statements, balance sheet schedules, and basic Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Required Skills & Software
- Accounting Software: Proficiency in Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Spreadsheets: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic financial modeling).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working familiarity with local tax laws, accounting standards (GAAP/Ind AS), and filing procedures.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and communication skills to coordinate with vendors, banks, and internal teams
