AC Technician

Carry out servicing, preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs of split and window air conditioners.

Independently diagnose refrigeration and electrical faults in single-phase air- conditioning equipment.

Attend customer complaints within prescribed service timelines and ensure proper closure of service calls.

Carry out routine and comprehensive preventive maintenance as per company standards.

Check operating parameters including voltage, current, refrigerant pressures, temperatures and overall cooling performance.

Diagnose problems relating to compressors, fan motors, capacitors, contactors, PCBs, sensors, thermostats and other components.

Carry out refrigerant charging, evacuation, leak testing, brazing and other basic refrigeration activities. Perform installation and commissioning of split and window air-conditioning

Technical Competencies The candidate should have practical knowledge and experience in:

 Split air conditioners

 Window air conditioners

 Single-phase electrical systems if 3 - phase good

 Inverter and non-inverter split ACs

 Refrigeration cycle and basic troubleshooting

 Compressor and fan motor troubleshooting

 Capacitors and electrical components

 PCB and sensor-related basic fault diagnosis

 Refrigerant charging and evacuation

 Leak testing and brazing

 AC installation and commissioning

 Drainage and water leakage troubleshooting

 Preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing
